Phase 1, Post #7: Google and Algorithmic Bias

Since the cases of algorithmic biases in searches in the past, Google has taken steps to try and alleviate the algorithmic bias. According to Google, they stated that they will take action to remove discrimatory search results and other items from the top of their people's views.

However, there still exist problems within their search algorithms nonetheless, and it's difficult to say that Google will do anything about it in the long run. They, like many other large tech companies, all experience the same problems with their algorithms engineering inequality and bias and yet, they do very little to stop it, claiming that there is not much they'd could do or want to do.
